EMTRI Corp. and AWEP Zimbabwe to launch a comprehensive 21-Day training program in the Emerald Triangle that will focus on Regenerative, Sustainable and Organic Cannabis Farming methods

Sherman Oaks, CA – October 10, 2024 – EMTRI Corp., a leader in blockchain innovation for the cannabis and hemp industries has joined forces with the African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP) Zimbabwe Chapter to develop the Africa Hemp Corridor Initiative (AHCI) Training of Trainers Program

 

The comprehensive 21-day training will be held from November 1 to November 21, 2024, in Northern California’s celebrated Mendocino County, a region widely recognized for its premier cannabis cultivation practices and sustainable farming legacy.

 

This groundbreaking program will welcome eleven leaders from AWEP Zimbabwe, as well as representatives from the Southern African Development Community (SADC), offering them the opportunity to learn advanced, Regenerative, Sustainable, Organic Cannabis Farming and processing techniques directly from experts in Mendocino’s Cannabis farming community.

Highlights of the 21-Day Training Program that Align with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Led by Susie Dew, an accomplished instructor, celebrated herbalist and founder of Mendocino’s AVOCA Farms, the training program will highlight 17 key sustainable development goals and will consist of a comprehensive set of proven methods and techniques essential to sustainable cannabis and hemp cultivation and production. About the Lead Trainer, Susie Dew

Susie Dew brings over 30 years of expertise in herbalism, sustainable farming, and wellness practices. With roots in Tennessee and California, Susie is a certified Cannabis Therapy Consultant and founder of AVOCA Farms, where she cultivates small-batch cannabis using regenerative methods. Her holistic approach and hands-on guidance provide invaluable mentorship for trainees.
